Although we are located in a temperate, coastal rainforest, we still live in Canada, and at times, this means temperatures drop below freezing, causing the soil and ground to freeze. This freezing puts irrigation systems at higher risk of malfunctioning, or inciting damage to the pipes, sprinklers lines and other vital system hardware. During this period, our team offers an Annual Winter Shut Down, to mitigate the risk of damaging your system. From the end of the summer solstice spanning into fall, our team offers this shutdown service by ceasing the flow of water into your system’s pipes via shutting off the isolation valve. We then clear out your system of any residual water with compressed air.
Usually these services can get quite compacted as winter can come fast, so it is recommended to call us in advance so we can schedule a good time for you to get this work done before the frost comes.
